Make sure you have your username and password ready when you want to log in. Go to https://start.exactonline.co.uk/docs/Login.aspx and enter your username and password. You can find your username in the email you received when you were added to the Exact Online administration.
You can log in to Exact Online in a few ways:
- Via the website
- Through the app
Everyone sometimes forgets their password and luckily you can easily request a new one from Exact. Request a new username and/or password. Click on the ‘forgot password’ link and follow the instructions.
Make sure you always create a strong new password. The best way to do this is through a password manager. This way you always have a strong password and you will not lose it.
Two-step verification is mandatory with Exact Online for security reasons. Check whether the verification code has been entered correctly and whether the notification has been received on time. If the two-step verification is not working properly, you can fix it in two different ways:
1: Verify that your email address is correct and request a new verification code. Open the link in the email with your new device. Please note, this link is only valid for 2 hours. Once you clicked on the link, two-step verification should work properly.
2: Ask the administration manager to do this for you
